LinkedIn Safety Playbook -
How to Run High-Volume Prospecting Without Tripping LinkedIn’s Security

1. Access & Login Safety

  • VPN / Static IP:

    • Always log in through a VPN with a static IP address in the client’s region (e.g., same city as their usual login).

    • No IP hopping — LinkedIn flags big changes in location.

  • Remote Desktop Alternative:

    • Set up a remote desktop (Amazon WorkSpaces, Windows RDP, etc.) and always log in from the same virtual machine.

  • Secure Credential Sharing:

    • Use LastPass, 1Password, or Dashlane to share logins — never send passwords via email or chat.

2. Profile Warm-Up Before Outreach

(If it’s a brand-new or dormant account)

  • Spend 5–7 days doing light, natural activity before sending large volumes of messages:

    • View profiles.

    • Like/comment on posts.

    • Connect with a few relevant people daily.

  • This builds trust signals in LinkedIn’s algorithm.

3. Daily Activity Limits (Safe Ranges)

  • Connection Requests: 20–50/day max (start low, increase gradually).

  • InMails: 20–30/day max (Sales Navigator limits vary by plan).

  • Messages to 1st-degree connections: Up to 100/day is fine if spread out.

  • Profile Views: 50–100/day.💡 Spread activity throughout the day — no “bulk bursts.”

4. Automation & Tools

  • Avoid browser extensions that send requests too fast — LinkedIn can detect abnormal behavior.

  • If using automation (e.g., Expandi, Waalaxy, Dripify), keep delays human-like (30–90 sec between actions).

  • Never run automation 24/7 — max 8–10 hours/day.

5. Messaging Safety

  • Avoid spammy templates (“Buy now”, “Limited offer”, “Click here”) in first outreach.

  • Personalize: mention role, company, or relevant detail.

  • Keep first messages under 300 characters for higher acceptance and less risk.

6. Behavior Red Flags That Trigger Restrictions

  • Sending 100+ connections daily for multiple days.

  • Logging in from multiple countries in short time.

  • Copy-pasting the same message to hundreds without personalization.

  • Receiving too many “I don’t know this person” reports.

7. Recovery Steps if Restricted

  • For “verification required”: complete email/SMS check.

  • For temporary ban: pause activity for 3–5 days, then resume at lower limits.

  • For permanent ban: contact LinkedIn support with proof of identity (photo ID, email confirmation). Recovery is not guaranteed.

📌 Best Practice for Maestros Millonarios Clients

  • Always run outbound from their real profile (decision-makers get better response rates).

  • Have Sales Navigator Core activated before starting.

  • Keep login location consistent via VPN/static IP or remote desktop.

  • Follow warm-up & daily limits religiously — especially in the first 2 weeks.
